An initiative named after the late mother of our founder, scholarships are offered to students who want to complete their higher education in spite of financial difficulties.Sood Charity Foundation has tie-ups with Universities that provide scholarship seats in various streams to deserving candidates that meet the selection criteria. Each university has its own terms and conditions which need to be adhered to.
Students wishing to avail this opportunity may apply by completing the following form.
Important:
– The scholarships are for fresh admission only.
– Student can apply for one course only at only one of the partner university.
– Multiple submission of form leads to immediate cancellation. (Apply responsibly)
1.) Priority will be given to students who have lost their parents or earning family members during the covid wave/s. Only after due verification of the above shall a student be given admission.
2.) To be eligible, students have to meet the guidelines of the particular course chosen as per the T&C’s laid out by the University.
3.) 100% Scholarship is being offered on Tuition Fees.
4.) Students have to arrange for their travel, accommodation( hostel fees) , food, and other expenses.
5.) All scholarship students, under all categories, shall be required to pay any additional charges, as applicable to other students. Apart from education fees, charges for uniforms, dormitory, exams, etc. will be on an actual basis.
6.) The basic eligibility criteria for each course is mentioned by the college. However, additional criteria about income or corona survivor, single parent child, front line workers will be prioritized.
7.) For the students who are not selected under the scholarship scheme, the attached fee structure will be applicable and for students who are selected under the scholarship scheme only the base fee will be applicable.
8.) SCF and all Universities reserve the right to expel any student failing to meet academic standards, cheating, plagiarism, Alcohol, drug abuse, or any criminal activity.
9.) Apart from the above mentioned acts any other act considered as an act of indiscipline by the competent authorities will be liable for action as deemed suitable.
10.) Submitting your entry does not guarantee your selection for Scholarships.
11.) We will make an effort to consider your application for the specific university that you have selected, but if you are not eligible for that institution, we may give you the option for transfer to another university if such is possible.
12.) SCF & the concerned University reserve the right to shortlist the candidates as per their discretion and selection process.
13.) Selected candidates give SCF & the concerned University absolute and complete right to use/publish their name, photograph, results, and progress report on any media form – digital or offline.
14.) Selected candidates to provide all mandatory documents if and when asked by SCF or the concerned University.
15.) Any false information will lead to immediate cancellation of selection.
16.) SCF and the concerned University hold and reserve the right to cancel the selection of any candidate found of misusing the opportunity in any way or showing a lack of seriousness towards the Scholarship/Studies/Program, not following the guidelines, rules, regulations, or any type of misconduct which SCF or the concerned University or both, reserve the right to change as per their requirement.
17.) No claim whatsoever may be made by any selected candidate or their family member/relative on SCF, University, their Board Members, or Committee Members during, before, or after the commencement of the Scholarship program.
18) All decisions by SCF & the concerned University in the entire program will be final and binding.
19.) No correspondence is guaranteed to any candidate filling up the form.
20.) Selection of a student does not entitle any right to them whatsoever in any kind. The program offers scholarships to eligible students only as per criteria decided by SCF and the concerned University. No requests for anything apart from this shall be entertained in absolute or in kind.
21.) By submitting your entry and your details you are agreeing to all the Terms & Conditions of the University for the particular course chosen and you will abide by the guidelines, rules, and regulations of the University at all times during your course.
22.) If at any point in time you are found to be not adhering to the T&C’s, guidelines, rules, and regulations of the University, the University of SCF reserves the right to cancel your scholarship and withdraw the admission.
23.) Any act of the selected student against the Indian Laws during his course/admission period will be dealt with strict legal actions according to the applicable jurisdiction of the university or SCF office.
24.) Any dispute of any kind shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts. (As the SCF’s head office is in Mumbai).
25.) If a student decides to drop off/ discontinue with the university for further education. He/ She shall inform the university and SCF formally. If he/ She doesn’t follow these norms, strict actions would be taken against them which would be decided by the discretionary power of the university and SCF members.
26.) SCF and University may expel any student failing to meet academic standards, cheating, plagiarism, Alcohol, drug abuse, or any criminal activity.
27.) Students before taking admission under the SCF program can recheck on their own and clear their doubts about the respective colleges and university to which he/she has applied. SCF is not responsible for misunderstandings or assumptions by any individual.
28.) Colleges as per their selection process may have more rounds of interviews for the final selected students.
29.) Applying to college does not guarantee admission. Admission depends upon college criteria, academics, and other specific requirements of SCF and college.
30.) Students must keep checking their mail, phone calls and SMS to get more updates from SCF and college. Failure to provide all details in the form and disagreeing to and may be subjected to disqualification from the scholarship.
